Yes, we are still in Rome, and there are still things to
explore.
Today, we prowled around the Colloseum for many hours. It
was fairly awesome, despite the fact that it is scorching hot here and my blood
must have forgotten that it’s born and bred Arizona stock, because I was
melting. Luckily, Rome is very nice about having water fountains everywhere.
With nice cool water. I drank a solid three liters. In the span of about four
hours. Like I said: melllltttttiiiiing.
We only have two more days in Rome, after which we have to
suffer through the torture that is international air travel. But then we’re
home!
This is a picture of our breakfast. It was crazy good. And
probably the best meal I’ve had since my beloved Sainsbury’s curry in London.
We haven’t had McDonald’s in twenty-four hours. It’s some sort of record.
